Gavin has just received notification (in the mail) that he has been upgraded from National Merit “Semi-Finalist” to National Merit “Finalist”! The decision was based on a short essay Gavin submitted and his SAT scores (which can be viewed in his résumé available in the Documents section). It is certainly exciting news and we may hear more about the scholarship results from the National Merit program in March.
